Fuel Systems Engineer

I am currently seeking an experienced Fuel Systems Engineer to work for my client based in the Essex area, some key information regarding the position is as follows:

Role Definitions

Functional Owner - prioritised functions are LP Fuel System. Position is the owner of the function cross functionally.

Summary

Role is responsible for managing a function across all interfacing areas, gathering total functional requirements for all variants, developing specifications, and organisation of validating and sign off.

Position is responsible for the following:

Feature/Function Feature Specifications:

Feature/Function based Specification for cross module feature/function.
Support Feature/Function interface documentation
Defining customer experience
Develops Use Cases
Consider non-Functional Requirements (cost, warranty, TGW, etc.)

Feature/Function Design:

Feature/Function Requirements and analysis
Feature/Function Logical Design (Functional decomposition and partitioning)
Feature/Function Physical Design (Block Diagram w/interfaces)
Failure management (inc. FMEA, etc)
Feature/Function Modeling
Support Implementation Plan

Feature/Function Integration:

Develops Feature/Function Architecture
Allocation of Requirements to implementing domains, subsystems and components
Assure compatibility with other features/functions
Manages integration trade-offs

Feature/Function Verification:

Confirmation of feature design compatibility with interfacing functions (HW and SW)
Feature/Function based Test Methods/Procedures
Support management of necessary test resources at program start (eg HIL/prototype vehicles)

Feature/Function Validation:

Ensure Feature/Function meets Customer expectations
Feature/Function Development Plan:
GTDS/GPDS milestones
Leads technical elements at change control/governance forums
