Fuel Systems Engineer

As part of our continued growth we are currently looking to recruit a Fuel Systems Engineer, to support the design and development of Aircraft Systems.

Key responsibilities of this role are as follows:

- Assist in the design and development of fuel system solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Carry out or manage aircraft fuel system/fuel tank inerting architectures compliance through test and analysis.
- Develop system requirements, interface documents and component specifications.
- Work with test results to either validate or redesign fuel systems and equipment.
- Manage suppliers to deliver key requirements on time, on cost and to high quality standards.

The key skills of the role are as follows;

- Good team working skills.
- Good engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical, aeronautical or systems engineering.
- Knowledge of systems engineering processes.
- Aerospace experience preferably within a fuel systems domain.
- Analytical skills appropriate to fluid flow systems as applied to aircraft fuel systems, fuel tank inerting and fuel tank venting systems.
- The ability to work with a low level of supervision and intervention.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good working ethic.
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
