Frontend Developer m/w

Our renowned Customer develops an innovative Linux Distribution which enables thin clients to use cloud based services. The focus of our product is to give a state-of-the art user experience, full range of office services, mobility and zero administration. The product is completely based on open source technology stack: Ubuntu, Python / Django, JQuery & HTML5. The Customer follows the agile methodologies including scrum, continuous integration and automatic black & white box testing in order to accomplish fast deliverables along side with an unmatched quality.

TASKS

- Development and maintenance of our Django based GUI application, with focus on the frontend programming (views & controllers)
- Development of Firefox extensions
- Our expert in firefox configuration and distribution
- Participate in discussions about UX / UI questions
- Take any other miscellaneous task which involves Python scripting

SKILLS

- Minimum 3 years experience with Javascript (JQuery especially) and CSS3
- Experience with Firefox extension programming
- Minimum 2 years exp. with Python / Django
- Proficient with the latest trends in web programming such as websockets, HTML5, javascript micro-frameworks etc
- Minimum 5 years exp with team based software development projects with the related tools: git, wiki, bug tracking system etc
- German is a plus
- proficient in Bash programming
- proficient with Linux
