Front End Web Developer Job

FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in New York City, NY.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- JavaScript HTML CSS
- Framework
- Object Oriented Programming

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ECMAScript 5 and 6 language features.
- Comprehensive understanding of CSS and HTML fundamentals.
- Experience with at least one MV* JavaScript framework.
- Clear understanding of object-oriented, aspect-oriented, and asynchronous programming
- Experience with animation and creating components in canvas, svg or webgl.
- Grasp of architecture and integration of components into the architecture.
- Ability to work in a team maintaining and developing a consistent way of working.
- Understanding of common Front End APIs: SVG, Canvas, DOM, WebSocket, etc.
- Experience with common JavaScript tooling.
- Experience conducting Unit Testing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- jQuery
- Rendering libraries, eg d3, Three.js, Easel.js, Select2
- js
- Angular, Ember, Bootstrap, Backbone or other frameworks
- Underscore/Lodash
- Scala, MongoDB
