Front-End Web Developer

Our hugely popular client is looking for an experienced FRONT END DEVELOPER with design experiences for a highly-scalable infrastructure management tool.

We are looking for an experienced Jack-of-All-Trades Web Developer with a proven track record of building high quality scalable internal tools. This is a hands-on position where you will be asked to do everything from assisting in defining requirements to providing insight on UI design. You should be comfortable working as a one person team, excelling in communication, ownership and customer focus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs
- OO design and coding skills in Java
- Experience in a Unix/Linux environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree
- Familiarity with Scripting languages such as Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Unix Shell Scripting
- Experience working with deployment tools (such as Apollo)
- Experience building large-scale web applications
- Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment using Scrum and Test Driven Development
- Experience working closely with project managers to develop rapid prototypes of desired experiences
- Experience participating in user research activities (eg, usability studies, user interviews, contextual inquiry) a strong plus
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
- Desire to work in a start-up style environment, where iteration is encouraged
