Front End Web Developer

My client is currently looking for a FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER to join their team immediately on an initial 4 month contract.

You will assist with creating a new state-of-the-art website that is fully responsive and accessible at the Web Content Accessibility Guidance ( WCAG) 2.0 AA level.

Essential Skills needed:

- Experience in creating fully responsive websites
- Experience in creating accessible websites, ideally at WCAG 2.0 AA level or higher
- Experience in creating cross-browser, cross-platform websites
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery
- Experience with Front End MVC frameworks such as Backbone.js
- Experience with RESTful JSON interfaces
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Skills:

- Experience working with Liferay or similar content management systems
- Being able to assist with testing of the website on multiple devices, platforms and browsers
- Experience building Ajaxified web apps
- Passion for usability, efficiency and performance code
- Detail-oriented and passionate about creating pixel-perfect UI from mock-up.
