Front End/UI (User Interface) Web Developer

Yoh has an EIGHT (8) month CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for a FRONT END/UI (USER INTERFACE) WEB DEVELOPER to join our client in Houston, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:
- Front End/UI Web Developer will work with User Experience and Software Engineering teams to define, maintain, implement, and enforce style guides, standards, reusable mark-up, and best practices for client-side coding.
- Front End/UI Web Developer develops enterprise-level information technology solutions by analysing, coding, testing, and implementing new and by modifying existing software applications with full competency.
- Performs moderately complex analyses of system requirements and of existing business processes and information systems.
- Front End/UI Web Developer performs code reviews on peers.
- Assists in more complex systems planning, scheduling and implementation.
- Write and integrate with CLIENT-SIDE APPLICATION CODE (EG ADVANCED JAVASCRIPT, AND JQUERY).
- Optimize performance of client-side code taking into account issues of page weight, complexity, Search Engine Optimization, network, user perception, and other effects.
- Create standards-compliant, cross-browser-compatible HTML WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF GRACEFUL DEGRADATION.
- Knowledgeable of CROSS-BROWSER COMPATIBILITY ISSUES AND W3C STANDARDS.
- Experience integrating the FRONT END WITH SERVER SIDE TECHNOLOGIES (EG, JAVA).
- Systems development, implementation, upgrades and analyses experience.
- QA testing, catalyst or unified business modelling, system design and analysis experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise coding standards.
- Hands on experience in writing more complex code.
- Ability to perform code reviews.
