Front End Developer

Function description

- Elaboration of detailed technical design
- Work on the layout of the assets (web pages, mails, ...) together with the UX department
- New development or maintenance of code created within the Messagent tool according to enterprise standards, and considering required quality and performance levels.
- Conducting pre-testing (unit-tests) based on test scenarios of the Test manager
- Working in an Agile setup
- Estimation of development workload
- Elaboration of the preparation of the installation in production - including integration and assembly testing
- Support test management in the execution of tests (including bug fixing)
- Documentation of development activities (design, code, unit testing, code review)

Languages:

Dutch - Fluent (FR or DU mandatory, other oral comprehension is sufficient)

French - Fluent (FR or DU mandatory, other oral comprehension is sufficient)

English - Good command

Required experience/knowledge:

Technical experience:

- HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge is a must
- Advanced Javascript skills and OO-programming knowledge
- Basic knowledge of react.js
- You used development environments like GIT, NodeJS,
- Database management via SQL
- Notion of tools like Jira and Confluence

Desirable:

- Selligent Interactive Marketing (Messagent)
- Design patterns

Business experience:

- Worked within an Agile environment, preferable using the Scrum methodology
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- You have affinity with the rapidly changing online environment and its best practices

Soft skills:

- Self-starter and pro-active attitude
- Good communication and Influencing skills
- Team player
- Ability to interact with diverse levels of audiences and explain technical stories to business
- Strong empathy to integrate "sensitive" environments
- Resistance to stressful situations
