FRONT END DEVELOPER - 12 MONTH+ CONTRACT - BRUSSELS - €310 A DAY
A large European institution based in Brussels are seeking a Front End Developer to join them on a long-term contract basis, with extensions very likely.
The successful candidate will form part of the IT services team who are responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions for web applications.
The Front End Developer will be responsible for everything related to the presentation layer of web applications, including:
- Improving the development workflow
- Designing and improving the user interfaces (GUI)
- Assisting colleagues with Front End technologies
- Analysing the current architecture and advising for improvement
- Analysing and implementing new functionalities
- Writing exhaustive tests for the developed products
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
It is essential that the Front End Developer has experience of:
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- Functional/reactive programming
- Angular2, Typescript and Node
- Java, or any other Back End technology
- Agile methodologies
- TDD
The working language for this role is English, however fluency in French is highly beneficial, as is knowledge of Webpack and Git.
