Freelance Windows/Citrix Engineer for Brussels

This team is responsible for the client build, 2nd line support, mobile support, packaging and mass deployment in an enterprise class environment.

He/she will report to the ICT Infra Win team manager.

He/she will be involved in a 24x7 rotation of an on-call guard system and will need to work occasionally during evening and weekends.

SKILLS

.Experience
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience with Microsoft operating systems

.Must have's skills
- Thorough expertise with relevant infrastructure technologies:

Windows client operating systems XP, Windows 7, Windows 8x and Windows 10 OS platforms
Group policies
VDI using Citrix Xendesktop

- Good technical insight of the Windows operating system
- Working knowledge of software deployment and patch management using SCCM
- Strong VBS and PowerShell Scripting skills
- Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, and DFS

.Nice to have's
- Packaging experience using Flexera is a plus

- Good client oriented soft skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- 2nd line support with regular contact to end users by phone
- Client oriented and user friendly
- Excellent organizational and written documentation skills
- Ability to focus and work well under pressure

LANGUAGES

- Fluent in Dutch and/or French with at least excellent understanding of the other language.
- Fluent spoken & written English is mandatory (both written & spoken)
