Fraud Analyst/Consultant with Credit Cards experience - Scotland - Market leading organisation - £400-£450 - 3 month + contract - urgent requirement and start date ASAP!

Excellent longer-term contract opportunity for a competent Fraud Analyst/Consultant with prior, previous experience of working within credit card programmes/projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned contractor as this role offers the opportunity to join an expanding company at a very exciting time, and will be responsible for formulating, communicating and negotiating the unsecured credit risk business requirements for the design and development of new unsecured risk decisioning systems.

Working with a team of permanent employees, this role offers a SME (subject Matter Expect) responsibility for the management of unsecured lending portfolios across the organisation.

ROLE:

- Responsibility for formulating, communicating and negotiating the unsecured credit risk business requirements for the design and development of new unsecured risk decisioning systems
- Provide technical expertise in matters of fraud prevention and detection and in cross functional teams and projects.
- Representing Risk in the detailed discussion and debate around the high level and detailed business requirements for new build risk systems and decisioning assets
- Co-ordinating inputs and views staff from across Risk and the wider business in the engagement process with external suppliers throughout the design, build, test and implementation life cycle.
- Interpreting and evaluating design and implementation options and recommend solutions to the Risk Leadership Team and appropriate wider business projects.
- Responsibility for the implementation, monitoring and reporting of fraud decisioning logic, in line with corporate objectives and regulatory parameters.
- Reviewing, challenging and implementing appropriate combination of high quality statistical models, policy rules and system infrastructure to produce a straightforward customer experience whilst delivering an appropriate assessment of fraud risk for fraud decisions at origination and throughout the customer relationship.
- Develop Fraud Risk Policy for approval, including confirming, or proposing changes to ensure Fraud Policy is appropriate and fair to customer's needs.
- Placing TCF Principles at the centre of the fraud policy development process and thereby providing recommendations for enhancement to fraud policy and decisioning infrastructure through application of the fraud policy change process to the appropriate governance groups.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Financial Services experience
- Proven experience within Credit Card programmes/projects
- Proven track record of executing significant initiatives in terms of fraud prevention and detection
- Proven leader of complex business areas
- Excellent stakeholder engagement
- SAS experience
- Good knowledge of wider Credit Risk life cycle
