FPGA Design Engineer

FPGA Design Engineer - Permanent - Hampshire

A new opportunity has arisen for a talented FPGA Design Engineer to join a growing consultancy firm providing electronic design services. As part of their plans for expansion, they are looking for a number of FPGA Design Engineers across all levels from graduates through to experienced Senior/ Principal Design Engineers.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who meets most or all of the following:

* Degree educated in Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline (first class or 2:1)
* Extensive VHDL experience
* Xilinx and/or Altera FPGA experience

Nice to haves include:

* C programming
* knowledge of PCI Express
* knowledge of image processing algorithms
* ASIC background

The right candidate would be able to prove their experience of complex design, algorithmic design and have strong coding capability. Ideally, you will have experience of the broadcast sector.

Salary will depend upon level of experience up to maximum c £50K pa.
