FPGA Contracts Engineer

Essential functions and duties 1 Evaluate, improve, test, extant FPGA code to deliver a robust stable code platform of digital communication systems using Verilog in accordance with company procedures. 2 Debug and verification of Verilog in a FPGA environment. 3 Development of test harnesses to verify developed items using self-checking testbenches for continued design improvement. 4 Integration of the developed firmware on the target hardware with other system components and software. 5 Release of developed items in accordance with the company procedures. 6 To work as part of the project team with already established engineers to resolve issues pro-actively 7 Provide progress/technical updates to the NPI Manager. 8 Contribute to peer design reviews, 9 Undertake requirements capture. 10 Proactively support company compliance to health and Safety legislation through adherence to company policies, processes and practices. 11 Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management. 12 Embracing the Spectris Code of Business Ethics and empowering employees to achieve business objectives and personal development.
