Fostering Social Worker - Somerset - Excellent Opportunity

This is a varied role working in a small team within a very supportive organisation as a whole and will be very rewarding.

Working within this organisation, Supervising Social worker main duties will be:

- To recruit prospective Foster Parents to provide high quality foster care for children, undertaking initial phone call, initial visits and preparation activities, followed by thorough assessment in accordance with best practice and legislation - and always with child protection and child welfare as the priority.
- To prepare Reports and present them in person to the Fostering Panel, in keeping with legislation, best practice, Policies and Procedures

To be considered for this role you will have a relevant Social Work qualification, HCPC registration, a full UK driving licence and a minimum of 3 years experience within Children & Families Services, with some of that time being within a Fostering Team.
