Formulation Project Leader

Formulation Project Leader with excellent scientific leadership and communication skills wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- PhD or Master's Degree with focus on pharmaceutical sciences and technology (such as Pharmacy, Chemistry)
- A minimum of 3 years of successful industry experience in the development of pharmaceutical formulations (ideally oral dosage forms as well as deep knowledge of biopharmaceutics and pharmaceutical Quality by Design)
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools (such as QbD, Pat and statistical software), strong knowledge of relevant GLP, GMP regulations and policies, as well as extensive and profound expertise in development activities and processes in pharmaceutical sciences
- Successful track record of creativity and problem solving in projects as well as excellent scientific/technical writing, organizational and presentation skills
- Advanced and superb coaching, planning, communication and negotiation skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, additional German and/or French skills are considered an advantage

YOUR TASKS:

- Developing oral dosage forms and the transfer to production
- Ensuring that high quality products are developed applying state-of-the-art technologies, risk analysis and QbD methodologies
- Achieving robust formulations and processes through optimization, scale-up and validation work
- Provisioning of the required documentation to allow worldwide registration
- Working in a multidisciplinary network organization, international teams and representing Pharmaceutical Development in external collaborations, which results in a wide range of scientific and strategic tasks
- Facilitating, coaching and coordinating sustainable performance along with developing new processing technologies
