Our client is seeking an experienced Fitout Foreman for a quality construction project in Geelong, Victoria. They specialise in design management, fit out and construction of industrial and commercial buildings. They are a leading contractor in the Victorian market as well as throughout Australia.

As an experienced Fitout Foreman you will be able to run to a program within a tight budget and time constraints.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;

- Managing Sub Contractors
- Driving a high level of OH&S and QA responsibility
- Liaise with external consultants
- Attention to detail on all facets of the job.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

- Approval of documents, plans and procedures as required for the project
- Identification and development of commissioning sub plans
- Development of a residual risk register for client management of the asset beyond the construction phase
- Management of major commissioning events to ensure ongoing compliance with the commissioning plan
- Interface management of commissioning processes with operator and other interfacing parties
- Reporting and ensuring Closeout of non-conformance with project standards and specifications
- Planning and coordination of handovers
- Monitoring/supervising worker productivity
- Ensuring that all deadlines are met
- Ensuring workplace safety and the well-being of all workers
- Overseeing equipment maintenance, facility cleaning and enforcing employee safety gear is worn at all times
- Resolving project issues

You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. You will have experience in all phases of large project management practices and methods.

In order to be applicable for these positions, you will be required to have no less than 5 years experience as a Site Manager or Foreman working on the projects listed below.
