First Line Engineer - NOC Engineer - Front Office Support

I am keen to speak to Front Office Engineers/NOC Engineers who have at least 1 year of experience working within a telecoms position - are you currently working in a NOC based role, as an Installation Engineer, or in an OandM position at operation site? I will consider all engineers who are willing to work on 6-month contracts in Romania. You MUST be an EU citizen, or someone who is able to work in Romania (as I cannot help with visa sponsorship). The perfect candidate will be able to speak ITALIAN OR FRENCH, as well as FLUENT ENGLISH!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Surveillance of alarms and events and faults occurred in the radio access and transmission access network;
- Monitoring of key performance indicators for the radio access and transmission access network;
- Trouble-shooting and fault management for the alarms and events observed;
- Reception and registration of calls from field, 3PP or projects
- Dispatching and coordination of field engineers, in case of incidents occurred at sites that need local support;
- Notification/escalation to 3PP, when it is the case;
- Escalation to the next support line, for cases that need advanced trouble-shooting;
- Escalation to the incident management, in case of major and critical incidents;
- Chasing all the alarms and events and faults in the associated ticketing systems;
- Providing updates/feedback about operational activities at the management requests.
- Perform regular reports

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- A University diploma or equivalent, plus Front Office/operations experience or installation experience
- An understanding of telecom networks and network elements
- Fluent written and spoken English, Italian or French language is a plus.
- Able to work in shifts, during weekends and legal holidays;

Knowledge in: - mobile 2G/3G and 4G networks/radio access and propagation/transmissions related knowledge: SDH, PDH, IP

Ideal experience:

- 1 year relevant OandM/NMC experience at the operation site
