Firmware Engineer

FIRMWARE ENGINEER CHANDLER, AZ 6 MONTH CONTRACT

This person will be responsible for development of software, firmware, and drivers associated with the Image Signal Processor (ISP) for the Imaging and Analytics Pipeline SDK. S/He will work closely with the team that owns the knowledge and IP for the ISP, as well as HCL to develop, fix bugs, etc. of the drivers, firmware, and SW for the SDK. Currently there are ~3-4 major features that need to be fixed by working directly with staff to access the appropriate source code and documentation to complete these features/fixes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of directly related experience required
- Deep understanding of host-device architectures and concepts
- Experience with device firmware, controlling subsystems like DMA, buffered I/O, data conversions, buffers
- Experienced C/C++ programmer
- Strong preference for someone that has experience with Image Signal Processing

PREFERRED:

- MIPI CSI expertise ideal
- Real Time programming
- Basic understanding of imaging and/or video
- Linux drivers
- V4L Industry standard software development and testing methodology
- Exposure to or experience with Image Processing or DSP blocks
