Firmware Engineer

Immediate opening for a Sr. Real Time Operating System Embedded Systems Designer/ Firmware Engineer in the Metrowest area of Boston, MA. This is a 6 month plus contract position and the need is HOT!! Bring your expertise with RTOS Micro controllers and MSP430 for immediate consideration. Looking for a candidate from a highly regulated environment, such as Medical or Areospace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree with 10 Years developing in a C/C RTOS environment
- Strong embedded systems development
- Complete understanding and participation within the SDLC
- Ideal candidate would have expertise in Embedded Systems Development (C/C ), Communications Design/Development, Industrial Control Systems, Product Diagnostics and Wireless/Network communications
- Development in a heavy regulated global environment
- Experience working with outside vendor's and design/developments issues/resolutions and the ability to multi-task and wear many hats within a start-up type of environment
- Experience with MSP430, ST Micro 32L15X (Cortex M3), RTOS, embOS, Development tools, IAR and SVN
