Firmware Applications Architect - Belgium - Bluetooth - 12 Months+

BLUETOOTH, BLE, NFC, APPLICATION, EMBEDDED, FIRMWARE, SYSTEM LEVEL

I am actively recruiting a Senior firmware specialist for a contract role in Belgium. My client is a leading technology supplier to the electronics industry, this is for a new Bluetooth wearable technology product.

Define application firmware architecture at application system level in consultation with the product manager
Ensure alignment of HW/SW interfaces at system level
Define & oversee adaptations to current Embedded firmware stacks to support latest BLE host stack, define audio streaming architecture & protocol.
Alignment of architecture updates together with the firmware architect for the current product
Technical lead for the firmware team ¡V strategy, decisions
Define validation strategy
Define content in the SW User/ADK user manual
Participate in the development activities as it may be required

Key Skills

Low-level) C-programming on Embedded system (ARM Cortex M0)
Bluetooth Low Energy (Smart) experience ¡V link layer/Bluetooth (Smart) host stack
System/SW development for low power architectures
Audio (/Video) streaming architectures
Experience of Real Time operating systems
Development tools: Eclipse, Python, svn, ¡K, debuggers, scopes, protocol sniffers
Good English
