Financial Systems Business Analyst Job

FINANCIAL SYSTEMS BUSINESS ANALYST needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chesapeake, VA.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHESAPEAKE, VA LOCATION.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five or more (5+) years of BA experience in large enterprise environment
- Experience with Enterprise Financial Systems (Oracle EBS, Lawson ERP, etc...)
- Very strong English communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This client recently acquired a very large competitor and this project is related to the merger of these two organizations.
- The client is integrating many systems from the acquired company in to their current technical environment including financial systems/applications, Supply Chain systems/applications, Distribution systems/applications, POS, Purchasing, etc
- This position is a contract position for a Business Analyst to assist in the integration specifically of the Financial Systems/Applications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five or more (5+) years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
- Experience gathering requirements and sitting in on meetings.
- Four or more (4+) years of experience working as the liaison between IT and business units.
- Experience working with executives and VPs at a high level.
- Communication is a must for candidates to be successful.
- Two or more (2+) years of experience working within a retail environment.
- Experience working with Enterprise financial systems such as Lawson ERP or Oracle EBS strongly desired

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working with projects in the distribution space and warehouse management systems such as Manhattan Associates or JDA
