Financial/Systems Accountant

My client is looking for a finance/systems accountant for our client based in the London area on a 6 month contract basis.

Candidates can be part of fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA a good knowledge within accounts; exposure to system implementations, system accounting & testing etc. will put you as a front runner for this position.

Key duties/areas of responsibility will include:
Daily upkeep of ledgers and reconciliations
Assist with control of portfolio reconciliations between the lease administration system and the general ledger on daily and monthly basis.
Supporting and driving change in the SAP system used by the Finance teams
Responsible for supporting finance users of SAP and you will initiate and drive continuous improvement in the EMEA finance processes through systems developments
Documenting, training users on any changes and testing Processing month end and associated reports.
Additional monthly MI reporting as required by management.
Review and document all current processes and procedures
Recommend and implement changes to current processes and procedures
Systems Testing in relation to changes/enhancement requests
Involvement in systems upgrades
Assistance in year end and budgeting processes.

Experience:
SAP Systems Accountant experience,
A Part-Qualified or Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant who has moved out of accounting and into systems accounting
Experience of driving finance systems and process changes within a multinational company environment
Some experience with other major ERP systems is advantageous
