Financial Sector Outsourcing Specialist

OUR CLIENT REQUIRES A FINANCIAL SECTOR OUTSOURCING SPECIALIST WITH EXPERIENCE OF HELPING MAJOR INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS MEET OR EXCEED REGULATORY 'OUTSOURCING OBLIGATIONS' (INCLUDING SYSC 8 AND MIFID).

This professional role will involve undertaking reviews to gain assurance that the institutions policies', practices' and processes' meet or exceed best practice and the regulator's requirements. Where exceptions are found, these will be analysed and a report prepared together with recommendations regarding remediation and re-engineering steps.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Significant experience in the outsourcing of financial sector operational processes across multiple geographies to both in-house and external service providers.
- Understanding of the PRA's expectations and required approach to outsourcing operations across different geographies
- Strong intellect and analytical abilities and be a graduate from a major university with a 2(i) or 1st class degree
- An accounting qualification and/ or a relevant IT certification - and is likely to have worked for a large professional services firm
- Excellent, concise, accurate written and oral communication skills

This London based contract role commences immediately for an initial 3months +. It could involve some overseas travel.
