Financial Risk Analyst - Credit or Debit Cards

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Credit Cards business has identified a number of Group Strategic Initiatives (GSIs) for 2014 and 2015. Successful and timely delivery of these initiatives requires immediate mobilisation and completion of Define phase in Q1 2014 by the Credit Cards Change Management team.

CORE SKILLS

The Credit Risk Team need risk analyst resource to support the Cards growth initiative by providing analytical capability to impact assess proposed credit risk changes, and some project support to ensure a smooth run through the growth programme.

We are seeking an experienced SAS Analyst/programmer with experience of credit strategy development.

- Experience of programming in SAS
- Strong MS Office Abilities
- Highly computer literate with the ability to work with a variety of PC packages
- The ability to utilise data in various formats and show resourcefulness in investigating data sources
- Strong analytical skills, and use of influencing skills when sourcing data from other areas
- Experience of working on Projects

Technical Skills Required:

- Must have extensive knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS macros
- SAS v9.1 development experience
- Proven experience of developing bespoke macros
- Ability to collect and define requirements, document proposal and then implement a solution
- Write full user documentation
- Experience of standard modelling processes and terminology is highly preferable
