Financial Reporting Specialist SAP AO

For our banking client we are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist - SAP AO (SAP Analysis for Office).

Start date: 01.08.2017

End date: 30.06.2018

Location: Zurich

Your tasks:

- Maintain and develop financial reports as a SME super user which are setup in MS Excel (including VBA) using SAP Analysis for Office (AO) based on the Consolidation and Reporting System
- Change the current default reports to cope with IFRS 9 reporting requirements as stipulated by the Accounting report owners
- Act as the SME to translate the business requirements for report changes or new reports brought forward by the Accounting report owners
- Collaborate closely with other teams in Reporting and Analytics Services (RAS), Accounting, IFRS 9 Project Team and IT Support

The ideal candidate shall bring:

- very good REPORTING KNOWLEDGE AS AN SME SUPER USER IN MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL REPORTING SYSTEMS (preferably SAP ANALYSIS FOR OFFICE/SAP BEX)
- good understanding of financial data and data structures and external reporting, preferably for the financial services industry
- working experience in FINANCIAL REPORTING of at least 3 years, preferably in the financial services industry
- an expert user in FINANCIAL REPORTING TOOLS, preferably in SAP ANALYSIS FOR OFFICE/SAP BEX
- an expert user of MS EXCEL (preferably also covering VBA)
- fluent in English
- diligent and highly structured and organized
- comfortable in working within tight schedules and deadlines
