Financial Reporting Specialist Job

FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HOUSTON, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Working knowledge of Oracle and Smartview/Essbase
- Experience in financial planning and reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively within all level of organization

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Reports to the Financial Planning
- Perform monthly close duties as assigned
- Assist in preparation of monthly internal financial reports, including budget variance reports, balance sheet details and consolidated reporting;
- Assist in external audits and prepare audit support schedules as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience in financial planning and reporting
- Working knowledge of Oracle and Smartview/Essbase
- Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively within all level of organization

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- CPA or working towards CPA designation a plus
