Financial Reporting Specialist - English Speaking Contract in Zurich

Net New Money (NNM) is the most important key figure used by analysts and investors alike to assess client confidence and future growth potential of the bank's wealth management and asset management business.

Within the Group Operational Finance area, the global centre of excellence for Net New Money/Invested Asset Reporting is responsible for producing, analysing and communicating client asset information for the group's external financial and internal management reporting.

For our clients dynamic team in Zurich we are currently looking for a new colleague as Financial Reporting Specialist.

YOU WILL BE PART OF A TEAM PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

- Verification and reporting of daily/weekly/monthly NNM and Invested Asset figures
- Production of standard and ad hoc reports for senior management
- Global governance on NNM figures
- Functional guidance and user support for controlling units and front staff

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

- Bank apprenticeship with further education/University of Applied Sciences Degree/University Degree
- 1 TO 3 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE IN CONTROLLING/ACCOUNTING, PREFERABLY IN THE FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY, AS AN ADVANTAGE
- Banking product know-how
- Strong analytical and methodical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills, ESPECIALLY EXCEL AS A MUST.
- Business Objects, Essbase Hyperion and SQL (eg Toad) skills as an advantage
- Reliable and accurate working style
- Good command of business English. German is big plus if you can speak it.
- Eager to learn with a flexible and open minded attitude
- Strong team player
