Financial Reporting Specialist

For our client, global banking company located in Zurich is looking for FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST FOR A 11-MONTHS CONTRACT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR ROLE

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MOTIVATED FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST TO HELP US:

Maintain and develop financial reports as a SME super user which are setup in MS Excel (including VBA) using SAP Analysis for Office (AO) based on the Group Consolidation and Reporting System (GCRS)

Change the current default reports to cope with IFRS 9 reporting requirements as stipulated by the Group Accounting report owners

Act as the SME to translate the business requirements for report changes or new reports brought forward by the Group Accounting report owners

Collaborate closely with other teams in Reporting and Analytics Services (RAS), Group Accounting, IFRS 9 Project Team and IT Support

YOUR TEAM

You will be working in the Group Reporting/External Reporting team within Reporting and Analytics Services (RAS) in Zurich. Our role is to maintain and develop the GCRS reports based on SAP AO used for external quarterly and annual reports and reporting to regulators and the Swiss National Bank.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

YOU HAVE:

very good reporting knowledge as an SME super user in management and financial reporting systems (preferably SAP Analysis for Office/SAP BEx)

good understanding of financial data and data structures and external reporting, preferably for the financial services industry

working experience in financial reporting of at least 3 years, preferably in the financial services industry

YOU ARE:

an expert user in financial reporting tools, preferably in SAP ANALYSIS FOR OFFICE/SAP BEX

an expert user of MS EXCEL (PREFERABLY ALSO COVERING VBA)

fluent in English

diligent and highly structured and organized

comfortable in working within tight schedules and deadlines
