For our banking client in Zürich we are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist:

START: ASAP
DURATION: 17 weeks

Financial Reporting Specialist (IBM TM1/Cognos)

Activities:

. Administrate and manage INSIGHT Group (IBM TM1/Cognos), containing data for internal and external reporting processes and products, segment, and legal entity reports (income statement, balance sheet, risk-weighted assets, client assets, headcount data and related KPI, for historical and current actuals and for estimates and forecasts)
. Interact with the clients of INSIGHT Group to collate requirements and specifications which need IT development and accompany the development performed by IT and test new or amended functionalities
. Maintain and amend the data models in the data cubes in INSIGHT Group to cope with new or changed reporting requirements
. Manage and improve the data interfaces between INSIGHT Group and the main Group Finance data warehouse (SAP BW) as well as between INSIGHT Group and offline data sources, by designing, implementing, maintaining and automating interface functionalities
. Support the other teams in RAS to ensure time-to-market and accurate reporting set-up by efficient and accurate database queries into formatted tables
. Collaborate closely with other teams in RAS, Group Accounting and Controlling, Business Division and Regional CFO areas, and Group Risk on topics related to financial data and reporting processes

Requirements:

The ideal applicant will bring the following qualifications and skills to the job:
. Extensive reporting knowledge in management and financial reporting systems (preferably IBM TM1/Cognos, or Hyperion, SAP)
. University degree or equivalent in Business, Economics or Finance
. Good working knowledge in English, German not required
. Working experience in financial reporting, controlling or accounting environment of at least 5 years, preferably in the financial services industry, with a good understanding of financial data and data structures
. Good communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with onshore analysis and reporting teams and with reporting teams in the offshore hub and IT
. Ability and willingness to work towards the sustainable improvement of processes and output quality
