Financial Process and Design Analyst

SUMMARY

- The individual will be responsible for supporting various accounting and finance initiatives ensuring changes to underlying accounting policies, procedures, systems, processes and work flow are effectively implemented and meet all established Accounting standards and goals/objectives.
- Responsibilities will include the supporting the design and implementation of assigned accounting project
- Analyzing and supporting the integration of changes in accounting processes, workflow, procedures and accounting chart of account elements
- Identifying and tracking of specific project plans or tasks, documentation of changes, timelines of project milestones and the resolution of issues which may arise during or after project implementation and assisting other departments with accounting responsibilities as needed.
- The individual must possess an understanding of large volume analytics and work effectively under pressure.
- This position will work with all levels of management in providing analysis and problem-solving recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

- The candidate should have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to draw sound conclusions and act decisively; resourcefulness to anticipate, define and help to implement solutions.
- Ability to think and act strategically in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting and/or conflicting priorities required, extensive experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office and Mainframe accounting systems
- Advanced spreadsheet skills including the ability to perform pivot tables and V-look ups.
- Excellent oral and written communication in a project focused environment are necessary, along with the ability to coordinate activities within and across multiple departments.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of three years of related experience are required.
- MUST HAVE at least 3 years experience.
