Financial Controller

Our client, a large media company in central London seeks an interim Financial Controller to join the business for 6 months.

Working from their impressive offices in the heart of the capital, the role will, in addition to covering the accounting for the UK businesses and the central functions will also oversee the UK based shared service areas. For competency purposes, the preferred and most appropriate qualification would be an ACA Chartered Accountant (preferably from a Tier 1 or 2 firm) to oversee divisional reporting, audit walk-throughs, group budgeting/forecasting, provision of management reports, some financial consolidation and some exciting project work in areas of post-acquisition integration. Preferably immediately available (or on short notice), this stands as a great opportunity for someone keen to engage (or continue within) the media space and to work within an organisation that offers a fantastic working culture and an overall great environment.
