Financial Control Manager

PRG have an excellent opportunity for an experience Finance Manager with strong Financial Control background to join this highly successful financial service business based in Edinburgh.

Initially on a temporary basis and will cover a secondment &ndash it will also provide excellent support to the wider finance teams with the delivery of control and accounting of various banking products and systems.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, the key responsibilities are:
&bull Exposure to financial reporting, analysis of disclosures and inter-company reconciliations
&bull Ensuring integrity of data between source systems and General Ledger
&bull MI for Divisional reporting
&bull Provision for strong ledger control and reporting for various subsidiary companies
&bull Ensure robust and effective financial governance framework, management of financial issues and balance sheet substantiation
&bull Experience of large financial systems i.e. SAP or Oracle may be advantageous, also Advanced MS Excel would be required
