Finance Business Partner (Operations) - Worcester - £220 daily rate.

Finance Business Partner (Operations) position within the Government, urgently required to work on a 5 month contract based in Worcester offering £220 daily rate.

KEY DUTIES AND DELIVERABLES;

- Provide input into the development of the Business Area's strategy and annual planning cycle
- Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial positions; support controls and governance to manage the resource provision.
- Provide support with calculating cost of services provided by the business area including transfer pricing costs where required.
- Be accountable for quality assuring (not producing) the financial information (plans, reports etc.) and insight and advice into the management information provided with management team.
- Support Financial and Management accounts team with year-end statutory accounts and provide explanations for auditors.
- Strong accounting background. Ability to analyse and report on financial information, including budgetary control essential
- Ability to share expert knowledge, provide advice and recommendations with internal and external contacts essential
- Demonstrable experience of working to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail, in a confidential environment essential
- Double Entry Journals, book keeping and reconciliation to balance sheets
- Qualified to CIMA level or recognised equivalent
