Financial Analyst - Must be Fluent/Native German Speaker - Germany

Financial Analyst (hands on accounting)! required by our global IT services client ASAP

We urgently require at least 1 x Fluent German speaking Finance Analyst to join a major IT project working within the finance team

German GAAP knowledge and several years of experience in the accounting area. Please note this is NOT a senior role or SAP Consultant role, much more of hands on accounting analysis for German GAAP

Description of the main tasks and responsibilities:

- Preparation of German Statutory Accounts
- Ensure integrity of the balance sheet for dedicated accounts under US GAAP and HGB
- PL analysis
- Month end close activities
- Support of German tax audit

Essential skills and experience required for this role:

- Qualified statutory accountant (CPA or equivalent) under German Commercial Code (HGB) and US GAAP
- Several years years experience as financial analyst in charge of the preparation of German Statutory Accounts ideally for US based companies or as financial auditor for a German audit company
- Sound knowledge of German tax law
- Language skills: German and English fluently both in spoken and written language
- Excellent business application skills (SAP, BW, DATEV, Addison, MS Excel, MS Access)
