Financial Analyst mit Schwerpunkt Accounting Gesucht für Zürich

Mein Kunde, ein international tätiges Dienstleistungsunternehmen (Weltweit über 30.000 Mitarbeiter, davon ca. 500 in der Schweiz) sucht zum schnellstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Financial Analyst mit Schwerpunkt Accounting. Die Position beinhaltet auch die fachliche und disziplinarische Führung von 2 Mitarbeitern und kann deswegen auch als 'Teamleiter Rechnungswesen' bezeichnet werden.

Tasks:
- Lead the month end / year end close of the books and perform balance sheet and P&L account reviews to ensure financial integrity of general ledger accounts. This would include unit & cost centre management, balance sheet governance and reconciliation between Local and US GAAP. Close working relationship with EMEA Controllership, EMEA Finance, Global Shared Services teams and Technical Advisory Group.
-Manage partnerships within Finance teams, member of market alignment team and leading a team of 2 regional accountants
-Preparation/review of quarterly external reporting schedules and perform quarterly attestation process.
-Support of the preparation of local tax returns/calculations for all legal entities. Support of the internal taxation department and coordination/leading of external tax audits.
- Plausibility Checks of accounting entries to assure Ledger Integrity
-Assure that sufficient control processes are kept in place to comply with US GAAP and OR guidelines
-Be first contact for business partners relating accounting queries
- Support Business Initiatives

Qualifications:
- Successful candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy, reports to and acts as a first contact person for Senior Finance Manager Germany and Switzerland, manages multiple tasks/projects with differing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and resolve financial risks and track issues to conclusion.
-In order to be successful, the candidate must have the ability to collaborate with team members across geographies in a matrix structure and deliver on customer expectations.
-Excellent communication skills (English & German required, French of advantage), both written and verbal.
-Strong ability to be flexible to changing business priorities.
- A highly focused, results driven and self-motivated mindset with the ability to use own initiative and be proactive with an energetic attitude.
