Financial Analyst (Jr.-Mid)

The majority of this position will be paying and reconciling invoices. Support and analyze program schedule and performance data to integrate programs, maximize efficiency, and improve processes. Support programs and projects by performing analyses of program management and support costs. Type of analyses include: Invoice Analysis, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Total Ownership Costs Analysis. Requires Bachelor's Degree. Requires US Citizenship and ability to obtain clearance. A current DOD or DHS clearance is a plus.

The following knowledge and experience is required for this position:

Requires 4 years overall experience.  2 of those years specialized experience in the use of any financial software for accounting/financial data. Without a Bachelor's Degree, this position requires 8 years of total experience.

- Federal experience is highly desired
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost data
- Provides professional financial support for several programs within a federal government agency
- Funding obligations
- Completing redistribution requests
- Paying/reconciling invoices
- Correspondence/Memos: Produce, proof read and track correspondence control documents
- Relevant experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
