Financial Analyst wanted for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 5+ years' working experience in Financial Planning and Financial Controlling, ideally in a pharmaceutical company
- Profound Excel skills coupled with SAP or reporting systems knowledge, such as Hyperion Enterprise or HFM
- Excellent understanding of advanced concepts related to financial analysis and accounting
- Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Supporting the Senior Management with Financial Planning and Analysis, Central Budget Functions, Annual Plan and Long range Plan to achieve Financial Deliverables
- Ensuring accuracy of forecasts and meeting finance deadlines as well as controlling and monitoring of expenses, identifying trends and recommending actions
- Analysing YTD spending vs Plan on a monthly basis along with understanding variances and drivers, preparing presentations to reflect status
- Ensuring spending is correctly reflected and maintaining the correct booking of expenses for Central Functions to ensure correct allocation
- Providing Ad-hoc requests on analysis of expenses or data to senior management and preparing presentations
- Partnering with other internal teams including accounting, treasury and tax as well as supporting other Global Functions such as Legal, Global Communications and Marketing
