A company based in Dublin City centre is recruiting for the position of a Financial Analyst (7 months contract to begin with)
Job Responsibilities:
* Month end processing
* Accruals
* Prepayments
* Month end reporting
* Assisting cost centre owners with queries on finances
* Ensuring fixed assets are consistent with company threshold and useful life.
* ICOF compliance work
* VAT reclaims
* Headcount reporting
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
* 1-2 years of similar experience
* Part qualified accountant
* The successful candidate will be have a high level of self motivation
* Good attention to detail and good interpersonal skills are required
* Good computer skills including a working knowledge of Excel is required
* Experience of SAP is a bonus
* Prior similar work experience in a life company or financial services company a plus but not essential.
* EU languages like German would be great advantage
