Financial Accountant - Property

Leading Fund Manager require a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant to work within their Property investment team, initially for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract

Principal Accountabilities:

*Covenant Appraisals of potential new tenants. The ability to review, assess and explain a set of financial statements is key to this role.
*Control and management of rental deposits, including settlement of interest and reconciliations to the ledgers
*Set-up and authorisation of property summaries (approved capital expenditure) on the in-house property database/accounting system,
*Control and management of the in-house database of capital transactions, including purchases, sales and developments and liaison with Solicitors and Asset Managers
*Monitoring and preparation of weekly BACS payment run (Provide Cover)
*Processing of payments on RBS Bankline system (Provide Cover)
*Monitor and control managing agents income in relation to various properties
*Adhere to established standards and procedures.

You will ideally have:

*Relevant Degree in Business Related Discipline
*Professional Accounting Qualification, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
*Experience of working in a property background is preferable
*Advanced Excel
*Investment Industry Knowledge
*Positive, enthusiastic approach
*Keen eye for detail and a professional approach to all tasks.
*Conscientious approach to completion of all tasks.
