My client, an international energy business, are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team, initially on a 4 month contract. contract.
Overview
Financial Accountant to finalise the work on hydrocarbon revenue accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered (Management) Accountant with a robust experience in oil and gas industry.
Key accountabilities
* Working with production and commercial departments to translate commercial arrangements into hydrocarbon revenue recognition
* Validating the sales points and closing stocks for hydrocarbon products based on the commercial information
* Finalising the balance sheet reconciliations of working capital section (Legacy balances)
* Internal Control compliance
What we are looking for
* Qualified Chartered Management Accountant
* Highly analytical
* Numerate with good problem solving skills
* Commercially aware in the following areas: Hydrocarbon Production, Sales and Upstream Revenue accounting
* Advanced Excel
* Available immediately
* High energy, self-motivation and able to work independently
* Good communication skills
