Finance Transformation Manager

A leading financial client based in Manchester are looking for a Finance Transformation Manager to lead the work of the Finance team in defining their future processes and requirements for the selection of a new ERP system, in particular:

* Drive and actively support the process re-engineering, documentation and functional specification for a new ERP solution.
* Contribute to the design of Finance processes drawing from a broad understanding of good practice finance processes and offering innovative ideas and solutions.
* Ensure that new processes fully meet statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements of the client.
* Engage with other parts of the business to understand their requirements of the Finance team.
* Design and deliver team meetings, process design and requirements gathering workshops and participate in fit-gap analysis.
* Provide business context to Finance process design and support change management efforts.
* Advocate a "vanilla" solution design approach to the Finance team to minimise the need for customisation and bespoke development.
* Provide input to the programme plan, ensuring appropriate priorities are assigned to critical tasks.
* Monitor quality assurance, deliverable acceptance and sign-off processes.
* Ensure timely issue resolution and appropriate issue escalation including identifying and managing resistance.
* Act as an ambassador for the programme and work collaboratively with other Corporate Services Transformation Leads and the programme team.

Experience:

* In depth expertise in Finance processes and selecting and implementing Finance solutions as part of an integrated ERP.
* Experience of leading the transformation of a Finance function onto a new ERP system and business processes.
* Skilled in dealing with a range of stakeholders and experience of partnering with various areas of a business.
