Finance Systems Analyst

My Central Government client are keen to take on an experienced Finance System Analyst for a three month contract based in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

*To analyse a potential outsource bid.

*Work with an internal team to ensure that the costing of IT upgrades to The Financial Case Management System is done systematically and to an agreed standard.

*Working with an external party to understand their solution to the extent required in order to advise on its suitability and the underlying transition project costing and assumptions.

*Work with management to ensure that we are comparing on a like-for-like basis and that costing's were accurate within an agreed range.

Technical Knowledge and Experience
*Financial services and public sector experience
*Strong track record in applications scoping and costing
*Financial services asset management system knowledge is highly desirable
*Evaluating options for outsourcing services and assessing bids
*Planning and costing outsource transition projects
*Experience of Agresso General Ledger desirable

Functional Knowledge and Experience
*Financial Services & IT experience
*Scoping and costing's of applications
*Knowledge of asset management systems
*Governance and Accounting Services
*Procurement and outsourcing

Evaluation Criteria
*Documentation submitted as per tender details
*Completion of Annex A/B
*Ability to meet the requirements in the specification
*Relevant experience and track record of supplier and proposed candidates
*Resource quality and capacity
*Costs including discount structures proposed
