FINANCE SECTOR OUTSOURCING/SUPPLY CHAIN RISK ASSURANCE CONSULTANT - CISA/CRISC

Our client, a large global banking organisation, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Banking Risk Analyst with strong outsourcing/procurement/supply chain knowledge/experience.

The purpose of this role is to provide independent oversight, challenge and advice for the effective identification, assessment and management of operational risks associated with our client's outsourcing suppliers.

Core duties will incude:

Perform targeted end-to-end risk assurance reviews across the third party and outsourcing estate, including:

o Plan and scoping activities - Establish relationship with SME's to formulate scope and hotspots to investigate

o Perform detailed assessment activities - eg process and control walkthrough, risk analysis, business/IT interviews

o Reporting - socialise findings, obtain stakeholder validation and work with owners to define risk actions

o Monitor and Closure - work with owners to review supporting evidence to ensure it addresses risks appropriately

o Project Management - leading, managing and prioritising risk assurance timelines, driving timelines and escalating if bottlenecks occur

Working collaboratively with other risk partners in the organisation to ensure that any risks and issues identified are validated and feedback incorporated

Provide advice to the business on third party and outsourcing standards for achieving compliance

Required skills:

Proven Risk Consultant with Banking experience with strong understanding of regulatory requirements around outsourcing - procurement or supply chain knowledge and/or experience highly advantageous

Previous experience of conducting supplier assurance reviews and managing supplier risks associated with complex outsourcing agreements

Understanding of Risk Management Frameworks and Principles and awareness of Banking Principles & Practices.

CISA or CRISC qualifications would be advantageous
