Finance Officer with Sage Line 50

Finance Officer with Sage Line 50 looking for an immediate start within an exciting insurance firm based in Kent. The role will be paying upwards of £11 p/hour; the role will be temporary and will last for at least 1 month.

MAIN DUTIES ICLUDE:- - Running the Purchase Ledger.
- Reconciliation of Bank Accounts using Sage Line 50
- Matching invoices with delivery notes, checking purchase order spreadsheet, ensuring costs are correct and coding accordingly to the correct nominal code.
- Maintaining, posting and reconciling all transactions on the Cashbook using Excel.
- Posting all transactions from the Cashbook into Sage.
- Running the Petty cash and posting entries onto Sage and reconciliation at end of month.
- Processing the supplier payments in accordance with payment terms.

KEY SKILLS

- Experience of using Sage line 50 is essential
- Previous experience working in a finance officer type role is essential
- Must be available immediately
- Prior relevant hands-on property insurance accounting experience is desirable
- Part-qualification eg AAT or IAB
- Must be numerate and have an eye for detail
- Good spread sheet (Excel) and IT skills
