Finance Manager - Telco/Consumer/Margin/ARPU

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager/Finance Business Partner to manage the leadership of the Consumer commercial team, supporting the function with financial performance and KPI reporting, analysis and modelling

The Consumer Trading team are responsible for existing Consumer propositions and their profitability (GM%), for product performance and reliability and for new product development. The key performance measures of this team are ARPU, AMPU, Gross Margin % and net additions to the customer base.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in B2C Telecommunications, and be responsible for the following -
* Challenge the management team to deliver & exceed budget expectations. Ensuring they are clear on what is required to deliver to plan, regularly advising & tracking on financial risks/opportunities.
* Provide insight into revenue and profitability on the Consumer Broadband, Fibre, Mobile, Voice and TV Triple-play bases - on an on-going and ad-hoc basis as appropriate.
* Provides modelling and business case development support on new product margin/pricing decisions to assess overall impact working with data from pricing and profitability team and using knowledge of actual product performance to date..
* Budgeting & periodic forecast & outturns as required by Group Finance.
* Prepare high-level KPI summary and commentary for Consumer Trading team & Snr Finance Director. This information needs to be timely, insightful and relevant
* Build relationships with FSSC to ensure financial results are materially correct and properly understood, and ensure in turn that FSSC are kept up to date with Commercial developments
* Build relationships with budget managers within the Consumer Trading team ensuring monthly results are discussed and relevant updates to out-turn agreed.
* Identify and drive process and output improvements within the team (ie around month end, analysis & forecasting)
* Provide insights and analysis for Group Finance regarding quarterly external view of the Group trading performance.

The role will included line management of two Finance Analysts, and we will be looking for Qualified accountants with business partnering experience, 3+ years PQE.
