Finance Manager - Technical Accounting (IFRS 9)

A Finance Manager is required to provide SME expertise to the IFRS 9 programme, as part of the Technical Accounting Team based with our prestigious financial services client based in Swindon

OVERVIEW OF THE FINANCE MANAGER - TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING (IFRS 9)
The IFRS 9 Technical Accounting team plays a pivotal role in this major finance and corporate change programme. The role will be working as part of a team of experts, but also collaborating with a wide range of finance, credit risk, business and project stakeholders.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

. Producing technical papers, presentations and other documentation
. Analysis and design of financial and management reporting (eg notes to the financial statements, business performance MI)
. SME input to accounting requirements and design of 'To Be' processes and systems
. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
. Intellectual curiosity and agility
. Proven influencing and relationship management skills at a managerial/senior SME level
. Experience of implementing accounting standards/financial accounting
. Adaptable team player
. Commercial business acumen
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The role is based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
