Finance Manager, Irish market - Dublin

We are a global financial enterprise, with the best know brand in the industry, currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager in the Irish market to be based in Dublin for an initial period of 3 months, with likelihood of extension.

[OVERVIEW]

- In this role, you will be the Financial Business Partner to the Chief Innovation Officer, providing financial guidance, assistance and timely reporting on this global function. This department is within the global Research and Development division, focused on the evolution of technological and consumer trends and the implication of these evolutions on the payments industry. Our tried, tested and proven methodologies enable us to generate new ideas from a variety of sources, and fast-track the best ideas from concept through prototype, pilot and into commercialization faster than ever before.
- The Business Leader, Financial Planning manages a team of two and provides financial support for all of the Irish legal entities, including tax and financial statutory reporting, budgeting, management of intercompany agreements, revenue and tax planning

[ROLE]

- Act as the primary finance leader for this entrepreneurial group
- Ensure Finance is closely integrated with and positively supports the business
- Provide financial support in the Dublin office, including monthly reporting, accounting and compliance matters, business cases, funding requests, etc
- Assist with department initiatives, such as investment completion for Startup Engagement and Acceleration and set-up of any new ventures
- Manage regulatory and Irish legal entities such as: intercompany agreements, collaborate with tax in relation to NOL's, manage the relationship with IDA in relation to Irish grant applications, complete R&D tax credit claims, manage audit and tax engagements
- Assist with the expansion of Dublin office
- Prepare and present to board of directors for Irish legal entities bi-annually

[ALL ABOUT YOU]

- Qualified accountant, FP&A experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Comfort with innovation & new areas
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency & accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a condensed timeframe
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
