Finance Manager - Business Insight

My client, an successful airline business, currently have a need for a Finance Manager to join their team on a contract basis, initially looking at a 6 - 9 month period. As Finance Manager Business Insight, you will help to create value by delivering projects to improve reporting across the group and improving discipline and transparency.

You will manage a number of key finance projects where your strong project management, influencing, problem solving and relationship management skills will be put to use in lifting the standard of information and reporting provided to senior management for decision making and monitoring of major cost initiatives and results

Essential capabilities and skills:

- Degree and full professional finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- The ability to collect and organise financial data, interpret it's significance and provide management with clear and concise reports
- Strong team management capabilities
- Able to demonstrate the ability to influence to achieve buy-in from key stakeholders
- Business awareness and commercial acumen developed through the application of finance knowledge and experience
- Good - Expert level of Excel modelling and analysis skills (lookups, pivot tables and manipulation of large data sets)
