Finance Manager

Hope you are well, I wanted to get in touch with you regarding an opportunity that I believe you would be interested in at a top tier bank in Bristol. The position will be placed within the Insurance Finance Technical and Reporting Advice Team.

WHATS ON OFFER:

CONTRACT: 4 Months
RATE: £450 PER DAY
LOCATION: Bristol

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting the team responding to ad hoc queries from the business relating to reporting requirements ( both statutory and regulatory)
- Provision of technical and reporting advice into project and product reporting treatment documentation
- Development and finalisation of pro-forma financial statements for 2015 year end accounts
- Providing support to the business in relation to future IFRS changes with a short term focus on IFRS 9
- Providing support to the business in relation to the preparation for regular industry body for a ( eg CFO Forum )

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- IFRS accounting and reporting( either audit or industry)
- Good understanding of PRA returns reporting requirements and solvency II reporting requirements
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain complex results to supporting teams
- Willingness to investigate and curiosity to understand concepts and processes
