FINANCE MANAGER

Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the Contract Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of financial planning, management and reporting are carried out accurately and effectively for the programmes/projects they are assigned to throughout their life cycle. 

The postholder will contribute to the development of efficient and effective standards, templates, guidance, process and systems, act as the first point of advice and support for all teams working on specific programmes/projects, and lead on the financial aspects of the set up of new work, renewals, extensions and the implementation of existing programmes and projects to ensure the client effectively manages its financial risks, meets client requirements and maximises income generation.

- SAP
- Exel

EXPERIENCE

- Experience of team management
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a project finance environment, with demonstrable experience of finance partnering
- Experience of management reporting, both to internal customers and external clients
- Experience of financial reconciliation in a project environment
- Operating in a complex, multi-cultural context

QUALIFICATION

- Qualified/Part-Qualified in Finance (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Project management qualification aligned to P&P professional standards (APM) at the appropriate level for the role (Post holder to achieve an agreed qualification within 12 months of starting in post).
- Evidence of continuous professional development
